the Standards of the Breed.
When the American Kennel Club officially recognized the breed in 1995, Cavaliers were given rigorous criteria for beautiful appearance, graceful movement, and affectionate temperament. Through careful research of bloodlines, conformation, and health, with each litter, we faithfully strive to meet these standards. We actively show throughout the year in conformation in the AKC to be sure Top Meadow Cavaliers are meeting the highest standards of the breed. We'd love to see you at a show!
FOSTERING
Happiness and Good Health.
Healthy Cavaliers are happy Cavaliers, which is why we take the health and lineage of our kennel seriously. Our Cavaliers are heart and eye certified annually by veterinary cardiologists and ophthalmologists. All dams and sires in our breeding program are DNA tested for genetic health before breeding for Curly Coat, Episodic Falling, and Dry Eye.

Our dogs are dual-registered in the American Kennel Club and the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club. In our breeding program, we work only with legitimate breeders who are actively showing and who share our commitment to ethical breeding practices.
